To the owner of this Bentley Continental GT, retaining an OEM appearance was every bit as important as an enhanced audio quality. To that end, we modified the existing rear package tray by relieving it of its original leather upholstery, and created an opening for two 12-inch JL Audio subwoofers. We then re-covered the panel in the original leather and fabricated a custom perforated metal grille opening with burl wood inlays. To continue the factory appearance into the trunk, we fabricated polished trim work for the audio components, and incorporated a genuine Bentley trunk emblem.
In keeping with the factory theme, all of the new components have been integrated with the Bentley audio system, so all of the factory controls remain functional. For added style, the Bentley was also fitted with 22-inch HRE wheels.
This installation was completed without drilling any holes or modifying any factory sheet metal, and as a result, can readily be returned to original condition.
